Students at Globe University can earn either a diploma or an Associate’s degree. While the university doesn’t immediately give details about their diploma, here’s some information as it pertains to the school’s Associate degree program.

This program takes two years to complete and tuition and student fees are estimated to be $35,880, while textbooks and supplies are $2,565.

Students can earn a diploma in 12 months at Lake Area Tech, or they can stay in school an additional four months to earn an Associate’s degree.   Students will also be required to do a 240-hour externship. The externship will be unpaid.

At MTI, students can enroll in the schools medical assisting program so long as they pay $13,613 for tuition and fees and then an additional cost of $1,560 for books and any required supplies. This is an A.A.S. degree program.

For those interested in earning an Associate’s degree rather than a certificate or diploma, you may want to consider National American University in Sioux Falls.

If this sounds like something you’re interested in, do know it will take you about 104 weeks to complete the program. This is two years worth of training and education, which is the norm for the length of time required to earn an Associate’s degree.

Please note, however, that this is only an estimation.

On top of that, tuition and fees will cost you $33,398 and textbooks and supplies will $3,600. Room and board is not offered at the NAU campus.

Competency-based instruction at Presentation College lasts four semesters. At its conclusion, students will then move on to a nine-week long externship program, where they’ll be able to put that education and training they learned in the classroom to great use inside an actually clinical facility.

A minimum of 70 credits is required to earn your Associate’s degree in medical assisting.
