At Carnegie, medical assistant classes are offered during the day to full time students and during the evening to part-time students. If you go during the day, the course will take you one year to complete and cost just over $11,000.

If you go in the evening, the cost will be relatively the same, but you will have to stay in school for two full years. Do note that, whichever path you choose, you will also have to pay an additional $175 for textbooks.

The medical assistant course requires a 180-hour practicum. The Phlebotomy program requires a 120-hour practicum.
